Happy Valentine’s Day
Couples strolling on the streets
But all I hear, is the shuffle of my feet
Fate seems to play a joke on me
As I’m alone again this very day
I’m waiting for that special someone, to appear
In front of me, someone to whom I can address, “Dear”
However, it has been so long
Everything just feels so wrong
Hope seems to be flickering away
Happiness and joy, kept at bay
When will my Prince Charming appear?
I really do wonder………
